Success Story
Mid-fall of 2023, 4 tiny kittens were found under someone’s porch and brought to the Trumbull Animal Shelter. Two were black and two were tabby and they were so sweet and playful. TAG volunteers spent time with them, helping to make sure they got used to humans, and, frankly, loving kitty time! TAG volunteer, Heather, immediately fell in love with the little family.
Heather and her family decided to adopt two of the females and named the black one Charlie Jo Moriah and the tabby one Trixie Lu McAllister. The girls are all grown up now and make their family laugh every single day with their antics, biscuit-making business and sweet chirps. They have a doggy sister and brother who they like to chase around, and share treat time with.
Adopting two kittens seemed like it would be extra work, but they keep each other so busy and always have their best friend to snuggle or do zoomies with. Heather definitely recommends adopting two for that reason (when possible, of course)!
