Donations Needed For K9 Bane!  

TRUMBULL — The town’s police force is turning to the public for help after its four-legged officer required emergency surgery last week.

 

K9 Bane was rushed to a veterinary hospital for an emergency intestinal surgery on Friday, police said.

 

The 3-year-old German Shepherd has worked full time with his handler Officer Greg Lee for several years. Police said Bane helps in the search and rescue of missing people, hunts for suspects who have committed crimes, and detects narcotics.
